It's not "cuckoo" to use street terms because those are normal terms. They might seem a little odd to those unfamiliar with them, but it's just an alternative way of speaking.

OP, on the other hand, is going off on a rant about how they want the message "This character is queer and thus needs all the attention brought to it" like a fool, completely disregarding that explicit relationships have never been mentioned in any prior kits, only close synergies between such units (like Padme/Anakin). So yes, I find it a little cuckoo.

So then, if I understand you correctly, it's not the words that are cuckoo at all. It's just that you don't think the argument is reasonable, to the point that - in your opinion - it's so far from provable that the argument itself is "cuckoo"?

So the quotation marks you use would be misleading me here, bc it's not about the parts (words) it's about the whole (argument)?

Uhh…I think you lost me.
I also think there’s been a miscommunication. You drawing a connection to me saying “cuckoo” and “the words” (presumably the so-called street words) is illogical because there’s a difference between using very casual words and what OP’s saying. You seem to think I’m saying both are cuckoo, I think?
Thats not what I’m saying. It’s a bad faith argument, the two aren’t really comparable. What connection is there between the perceived cuckoo-ness of street slang and OP complaining about “queer erasure?”

    Let me simplify it to the best of my abilities.
    I think it's cuckoo that OP demands relationship and sexual status in kits just to soothe whatever need they have. It's not relevant to the game, and has never been done before for straight characters, so why should it change now for queer characters?
    I think the whole "street slang" argument has become an unnecessary goalpost in this topic, and seems to me like the stem of all the confusion here.
