Question about Jyn

Would you Zeta her? - regardless she's squishy but a good to great toon. A friend of mine runs a 4* G11 Jyn with Chaze (I realize you don't have them), and Wiggs and finishes first in arena (Dec 15 shard). Sometimes he has swap in his Empire team depending on who he is facing.

I have not tried her with wiggs team. She has a decent kit that the ai will never know how to use correctly so she will probably hurt you on defense.

Yes, she is viable at 4*s when geared i often use her with wiggs st han and k2

@Ddot and how do you fare in the arena with that team? And are you in an old arena shard? (Because I am)

She has a very amazing kit but is difficult to use. I think she's kinda like a rebel version of yoda--lots of utility and speed but low damage and health.

Can't speak to 4*, but I like using her to stun/remove tm from STHan. I have also used her revive a few times.

But as someone said, computer doesn't know how to use her on defense. Autoed a battle with her today, and the computer had her start with her aoe.

I posted this earlier on a different thread and wanted to chime in here as well:

"I got Jyn 6*, max gear XI, 270 speed, leader zeta'd and was very disappointed in how she performed in arena. I thought the 5% protection recovery zeta would have more of an impact in arena survivability than it did.

Jyn (l), Barriss (zeta), GK, Chaze got slaughtered in arena easily so I'm no longer using Jyn. Very disappointed....maybe if the leader zeta protection recovery was 10% vs 5% she would be more viable in arena."

From talking to fellow guildmates and reading multiple forums, it seems Jyn can be very useful in raids but is not viable for top arena spots. I'm kicking myself so hard now for maxing her gear and blowing a zeta on her leadership ability; biggest mistake I have made to date.

Honestly, since I do not have GK or Chaze, and also Cassian for that matter, I never thought that she'd be a better lead than Wedge; I just thought she might be good with a Wiggs lead. My shard has gotten a lot harder lately and I am finding myself struggling to sneak into the top 20, as I was usually in the top 10/ top 5 before, so my lineup needs a change and was wondering if Jyn could be it. But reading your post as well as the others, I'm realizing that I'm probably better off to invest my resources elsewhere. Thanks!
Now I got to get back to polishing off my mods for TFP, Boba and Vader... ;)

Are you IOS or Android, cos K2 would fix well on your squad

I have Chirrut (6* G10) and Baze (4* G10), and just managed to get Jyn this time (boy was it hard work). Is it worth me pursuing gearing her? My current Wiggs / Chaze / Shore arena team can only get me to around 50-60th in arena (April shard). Generally getting taken down by much faster teams, and B2 / TFP can shut down Chaze pretty quickly. StHan can also be a problem if hes fast and gives the opposition almost 2 turns before i've moved, if Baze fires back at him.

Thought I saw a video on here last Jyn tournament with just those 3 (Jyn/Chaze) beating top arena teams on their own. Or was that because she was 7*?

Also, why does Jyn have all this potency buff stuff? Which rebels would be able to take full advantage of it? Wedge does defense down, but after that i'm struggling. I thought potency was only used when applying a debuff or a tm reduction, or does it go further than that?
