Actually, the onus on the developers is to know python, or JavaScript, or a language such as those. You seem to be confusing marketing, or service, departments with engineering. Devs are not in public facing role. They code what they're asked to code, for the most part. Don't understand why people keeping blaming devs for not responding to forum posts. Unless it's a bug report, why would they bother?! If you have a problem with a website, do you contact the customer service people, or do you call headquarters and demand to speak to someone who worked on the code? That said, communication is generally abysmal, the app is screwed up badly.
I think you're interpreting the term 'devs' too literally - generally speaking, when I see that on these forums I assume the speaker is referring to the whole dev team, which includes people that aren't paid to write code.
That being said, I have no idea what the OP was on about with the "they don't speak English" comment - that seems both irrelevant and completely false - weird hill to die on in this fight. Even if it were true there are way more impactful things to be mad about and I feel like even mentioning it discredits anything else in the post.
