R2-D2 and BB8

I have two questions that need to be answered because it's a life-or-death issue for me ;) 1st: When do you think the next bb8 event will be? (Because I started to farm my FO, spending a lot of chrystals in it): the calendar says "16th of february" but it's not a certain date...
The second is: Why is there a R2 event going on, not even one month after the last one? Is it because the last one was only put there for cls' event?

I have to admit that I am planning all my farming following the dev calendar, but it's rarely reliable, and I'm afraid I will not be ready if a bb8 events pops out 3 weeks before the date announced, how could I be sure?

You should focus on one squad at the time and switch to the next when you've maxed it. You rarely have the time to farm decently between the time an event is announced and when it starts.
You should farm squads that will cover multiple events. Obvious first choice is Phoenix since the get you passed Palpatine, Secret and Shadows, Thrawn, Omegas and even help with Yoda and Jedi Challenges.
Then go for a scoundrel and an Empire squad. You'll have 90% of the events covered.
Try to include as many crew members as possible in your squads coz fleet gets you lot of crystals and few people focus on it ;-)
Keep the useless factions for last (Nightsister, Ewoks, Jawas), their events are worthless.
  • The dev calendar is fairly reliable.

The events come and go a lot quicker after the first return, this has always been the case
  • Okay thanks, I have to say that I discovered this calendar recently, and I don't really know how reliable it was... so so you have a speculation for the next bb8 event?

  • Who said anything about a Feb calendar?

At any rate, the dev calendar (which is currently showing January events) is fairly reliable in terms of what it lists. However, it doesn't list everything that is planned to run, so it's reliable but not complete.

  • Ah I somehow missed that in the original post.

I have no idea what that is in reference to.
