Because, if the overall rewards to a whole guild are better, then I, and others who were better off on the old system, should arguably suck it up for the greater good. If my guild gets more then we'll progress faster together TB and this and future raids, and that's better for every player in the game.
They are not better. In Sim Rancor raid all players could simply get 2 full MK 5 CEC Fusion Furnace https://swgoh.gg/db/gear/118/mk-5-cec-fusion-furnace/. Total cost of this 2 part is 3720 MK1 what is close to be half of all MK1 currency reward. And this is one raid with 55k ticket cost. What we are getting now is lowest possible reward from old raids.
Right, but what was the probability of receiving that piece from a HPit sim against other, probably lesser, rewards from a similar set of sim rewards? This seems like cherry-picking to suit your pov rather than actually looking at the whole picture. If, over time and multiple rewards cycles, these rewards are equivalent to the simmed rewards for a whole guild (or slightly less but with the bonus of choosing how to spend our rewards) then I can accept how it's worked out. If. That seems to be what the biggest analyses taking into account the largest data sets have shown. What's good for the guild is good for me.
