In Clash of Clans, once a war is started, and you're opted in, then you're locked in until that war finishes 24 hours later.
If you leave the clan and join another, you're flagged as still being involved in a war and cannot join another until the previous one finishes.
Why did Supercell impose this rule? Because it prevents precisely what has happened here.
So if Supercell can figure this out, why can't CG?
When a raid starts, put a 24 hour timer on it - or 48 hours - or whatever fits, according to CG's original intention to slow down progression.
Players who participate in a raid are locked in until the timer expires, solves the guild hopping issue as well.
It's really not rocket science, the industry standard has already been set and it's been working for years.
Alt accounts are not forbidden in clash of clans. Using super low alt accounts in clanwars screws up the matchmaking and results in very easy wins, those alts dont even have to attack. Alt accounts were/are also used to give top ranked players "cheap shields". And ofcourse for donating.
so yeah, having an alt account in clash of clans also benefits the main acc.
iMod/xMod was/is common practise for years in clash of clans, agiants ToS, there is no doubt it is a cheat, still was condoned until recently. Farming bots have poped up the last year aswell, and until recently no one got banned for it. These are a great example, mainly the first 1, that freemium games dont ban their top spenders. its fair to say 90% of the top200 global players and clans cheated with iMod, they were aware of it, yet they didnt ban anyone.
but still supercell is a very effective freemium game developer. Maybe its they way they manage their playerbase.
