That’s been a running Battlefront 2 joke. The community devs in charge of BF2 I believe was responding to the outcry over lootboxes, pay to win mechanics , and the general grind of progression with saying they wanted to give players a sense of “pride and accomplishment” and it became the most downvoted thread in reddit history.
