I don't know, they should just take the items back and not suspend anybody. The raid rewards retrieval is very buggy at times. For me to get my raid rewards I usually have to open the app, go the guild menu, leave, kill the app, repeat the previous steps, and I usually get my raid rewards on my 3rd attempt. Who's to say it didn't look like a bug and they didn't realize it right away until it was too late? I think EA needs to accept part of the responsibility for that mistake and not push it off 100% on the player.
The paycheck example is not even relevant. You know what your paycheck looks like no questions asked, this game can by buggy at times and you don't always know what's-what.
