We have Wicket and MT as Marquee events that have an altertion so that they don't follow the normal release cadence. We also have Zombie and Spirit who are not marquee events so do not follow the release cadence.
What is the point of having a release cadence if it's not going to be followed?
Also they said Wicket and MT would farm at a similar rate to a Hard node farm which by my maths would make them a weekly event, as getting around 10 shards a week from a single hard node would be slightly below average.
The spirit of the release cadence was to have a toon released and follow some schedule to become farmable. Previously toons could be released and no one would know anything until the end of some seemingly random time period they would get placed and we could have access.
Yes the new toons are not following the same direct path but they are following the spirit if the cadence and are all becoming farmable. This is a new type of release that allows players to have more repeatable playable content.
