Relic Delta and PKHO are disasters!

Relic Delta is much too strong.. i understand that you’re trying to give whales an unfair advantage, but does it need to be this unfair?!?!? Pirate King Hondo being the most powerful GL in the game...

I think ppl forget that the central conceit of SWGOH is that you're a gambler in a cantina with made up holo characters playing in what amounts to something like a poker tournament.

The people who run the tournament aren't basing the toons' actual power levels either. They hear rumours or at best read somme biography of a famous person who lived a 100 years ago. Then they design gambling toons, and the historical figures that have the biggest reps become GLs.

It makes absolute sense that - for instance - Hondo has a much bigger rep than Yoda. Yoda was undoubtedly more powerful, but Yoda didn't talk himself up and make everyone around him think he was a legend. "There is no talk, only do," is something Yoda would say. But Hondo was all talk. It was useful (business wise) for everyone to believe he was a big deal, and so he constantly tried to convince everyone he was a big deal. He wasn't always successful, but with that much PR you're going to have a bigger rep than someone like Yoda with no PR.

This is a fair observation on the basis of the game. CG has always said this game is based on snap shots of the toon’s life, not a complete representation.

And the legend of Hondo is a very realistic portrayal of his character. He talks a big game and self represents what he believes. He is grandiose and obnoxious. His event to unlock Aphra is 100% accurate. Hondo telling the story of how he confronted Jabba the Hutt and mixing up characters because why let the truth get in the way of a good story? A lot of the Jedi were forgotten due to the Empire branding them as traitors. A whole generation grew up with no Jedi. And the galaxy forgot about the Sith. Think in terms of modern history, we’ve all heard of Ragnar the Viking. And sparse little is known about Genghis Khan, Socrates , or Homer. They’re all legends who happened 2000 or more years ago like the Old Republic.
