In middle of applause....Senator Amidala predicted future ..The game now passes through it's darkest times...What is disguised as "update" and progress is in fact a huge boost to pay to win players...Well, we had fun though. Time to leave...Who cares , you will say...But you dont hear players outcry for this...and this soon "here rests SWGOH which after relic delta the base of this community feels treated unfair and left this game...."BRING BACK THE BEFORE DELTA ERA OR A LOT OF PLAYERS WILL LEAVE SOON.

For me personally my whole roaster of 13.7 mil need rework. All my relic 5 that were doing theirs job now need to be atleast 7-8 for soft counter to continue working. Best exemple was my ds mandolirian. R6 maul with R3 mandolorian. Relic delta affect their true dmg uppon assist and from maul nuke. They cant no longer beat a solo GL after i missed my initials clear. Now they do 1500 true dmg on assist instead of 8-9k . So i need to up thise character otherwise they are dead weight. I had to upgrade starkiller and malicos from R6 to R8 because the rey counter was not working anymore from the lack of dmg they initially had before relic delta. So yeah anyone who had underlevel roaster in K1-2 are screwed. I dropped in k3 since update and sometimes struggle simply because of the dmg modifiers

Yeah, I duuno about this. No doubt some players will leave. That happens with every major update. My guild has lost two or three in the last couple of months. I feel like these were people that probably already had one foot out the door and a good stiff breeze could have nudged them across the threshold. I haven't noticed that my game play has been negatively affected - barring the occasional no-buttons issue cropping up after not seeing that happen in ages - but other than that I have noticed that the missions in TB that I already had on auto just go faster - and the later missions where relic levels pull even are pretty much unchanged (and mostly still auto-play). If you're mad that your budget counters don't work anymore, there's fantastic news - relic materials have never been more accessible. So chances are you can get those formerly budget teams up to snuff pretty quick. If you minimize the relic difference, your old 'off meta' counters will still work just fine - that hasn't changed. I'm not sure what people are saving up for. Add relics to the toons you've had at R5 for the last four years. You now have an excuse to take some of those characters up to higher relics - this will benefit you everywhere in the game. What has changed for me is that I'm a lot more eager to apply R9 where previously I wouldn't. People complained for ages that R9 just didn't mean much - well now it does. That's pretty ok with me. I like that. I feel like relic progression matters for something other than arbitrary unlock requirements. It's really weird to me in a certain sense - CG put progression back on the menu and people are mad about it. This was always a progression based game and we stagnated for years at R9 because R9 really didn't matter. Progression matters again - go progress already.Maybe no one reading this wants to hear this but there's someone out there that probably needs to: I noticed I had way more fun with the game when I stopped taking everything about it so seriously. It's not the end of the world if you go down from k2 to k3 - or from k4 to A2 - your arena rank is not who you are and your skill rating can't be cashed in for anything when you log off. It's just not that serious to lose a round because someone had more invested into relics than you did. If that ruins your day and your enjoyment of the game, maybe you're better off moving on anyway. I had to make that choice recently - and instead of logging off and leaving my guild I decided to chill out a bit and take the thing way less seriously. I'm way happier for it - I'm enjoying the game more - I still get to hang out with my guild mates and be a part of a team effort - and my crystal income and rewards have hardly noticed.I strongly urge people to take that attitude for a test drive. It is so choice - if you have the means, I highly recommend it.

Relics are supposed to mean something. It makes sense you need to rank them higher to beat higher lvl teams 🤦♂️🤣

Can you explain specifically how RD has altered your performance. I can still get through higher relics in TW and GAC. Every event I have tried is easier. I am worried about conquest but we have not seen it yet. I think a lot was exaggerated by streamers and in reality it has not impacted my win rate either way.
What is difficult to identify, but is the crucial criticism. Are there seriously matches you would have won that you are now losing?

So... what's the problem here? Build better relics or get knocked down. This is not the first time that SWGOH has introduced a new incentive to build up your roster.

Strategy didn't die with this update, it was already dead. The game is fundamentally RNG which you can mitigate with cash, and has been for years. Anyone who thought it was still strategy until a few weeks ago is deluded.

The new strategy is to upgrade your relics. You people think that anything that doesn't involve figuring out how to win with the lowest relics possible isn't strategy. You're talking about offensive strategy, but having high relic teams has been a part of defensive strategy since relics were introduced.

Nonsense.

After 1 round of 3v3 in its been a non-issue. Most counters I normally use work unless it was at some absurdly high relic delta and even then Id expect them to be a little sketchy.

Its still easy to beat GLs with a relic delta over my counters, yes it takes a bit longer but nothing that ever gets near a timeout.

Maybe post your swgoh.gg and lets see how it genuinely affects you.....

What complete and utter nonsense from you. RNG is only a factor when you are using non-optimal teams, that applies across all game modes.

issue for you is your strategy is poor if you are being punished by RNG.
