For me personally my whole roaster of 13.7 mil need rework. All my relic 5 that were doing theirs job now need to be atleast 7-8 for soft counter to continue working.
Best exemple was my ds mandolirian. R6 maul with R3 mandolorian. Relic delta affect their true dmg uppon assist and from maul nuke. They cant no longer beat a solo GL after i missed my initials clear. Now they do 1500 true dmg on assist instead of 8-9k . So i need to up thise character otherwise they are dead weight.
I had to upgrade starkiller and malicos from R6 to R8 because the rey counter was not working anymore from the lack of dmg they initially had before relic delta.
So yeah anyone who had underlevel roaster in K1-2 are screwed. I dropped in k3 since update and sometimes struggle simply because of the dmg modifiers
MockingMax You mention your whole roster but your examples are punch up squads. No GL vs GL. So that seems to be the priority and a very quick fix with the relic economy change.
I am a 12M roster but most of my attackers and tanks are >R7 (attackers up to R8 and tanks up to R9) in my core squads. It’s my supports which needed some help for survivability. I have a lot of random R7’s and R8’s from TB platoons such as Alphra. I also have R9’s for the raid in JV, Quadme and DS clone. A really good place to start is some with the R9 tier on assault battles. Also a RD of 1-2 is not too bad.
From my perspective my strategy of roster development seems to be paying off, even if a lot of my higher relics were because I enjoyed the characters or for PVE. High relics have always improved consistency of counters. Whilst rosters which efficiently minimised investment may require more further investment than rosters with high relic investment, it does seem fair to reward relic investment. Yours really must have been scraping through counters for them to have stopped working whilst they have not for all K2 players. I think high relics should always have been increasingly more powerful as R9 was not too desirable before RD outside of requirements. I get the frustration of it suddenly changing but I think it’s progressive to promoting investment to higher relics.
Also in context of GAC RD is not automatically causing wins and losses without an underlying issue of under investment or strategy. I lost to my opponent who had a larger roster and more GL’s than myself whilst I had more higher relics. They had better placement of GL’s whilst most of my high relics are on my offensive teams at the moment. So they full cleared whilst I failed to clear Pirate King Hondo. There are multiple levels to success and RD is only part of the picture.
