Relic Delta

I have been through it and back regarding Relic Delta…I understand that they want to continue to incentivize relicking characters and they don’t live when supposedly very strong teams are getting taken out by lower level niche teams. Balancing and rebalancing is a challenge - that would be preferable but not easy.

I think most people have a bigger problem with the severity of the delta penalty and bonus. Did CG purposefully go over the top here so they could half it after feedback and make the player **bleep** feel like they won? :)

My thoughts are a bit eclectic.  I feel this will affect me more than most players, and I'm very depressed about it.  It's constantly on my mind.

I've been playing since the end of 2017.  I haven't kept any other mobile game on my phone for a year, let alone 8 years!  So, giving it up would be tough.  Not something I want to do, not something I would have even dreamed of 3 days ago!

I don't spend much on the game, but I spend a bit.  I have £6 of google credit that I need to spend by the 25th October.  I was waiting for a pack I wanted and was deliberating what to spend it on.  Now, there's zero chance that I will spend it on SWGOH.  Where before 3 days ago, 100% it would have gone on SWGOH.....I don't play any other google games.

If I think about the negative changes in SWGOH.  I'd say at number 3 was bringing back 3v3 under the same ladder as 5v5 in new GAC lowered my morale by 10%.  The great nerf of Vader, Thrawn, GAS and JKL lowered my morale by 20%.  This is lowering my morale by 100%.  Nothing in my 8 years comes close to the negative feelings I have right now.

If it is implemented in any form.  I will delete the game and abstain for 1 month.  Then see how I feel.  I bought Final Fantasy Tactics a few years back on google, and haven't played it.  I'll try that, maybe another gacha game, then review my feelings.

If it is implemented and I do come back, it will be a much more casual approach.  I'll play 5v5 still, tier down a guild maybe, phone it in for 3v3 and won't bother with much pve.  Certainly not GC or the TB battles, just deploy.

Before this is implemented, I'm not sure what to do.  After my current run of characters, I won't get any more other than ones I love (Zuckuss and 4-Lom).  I'm finishing off Tano and Mace.  A pirate team to go with the little thing from the newest trilogy paz...taz..maz  whatever her name is...and I'm done with new characters.  I'll just work on upping the relics on what I have.

Unless it's actually nowhere near as bad for me (which I doubt as this really seems to be trying to combat players like me) I won't spend again.  We have a new Conquest starting on Monday.  I'm a real Conquest grinder.  However, what's the point of me grinding datacrons if I'm not going to play 3v3 anymore and taking a month off?

Generally, I'm very sad and confused.  I'm adamant I will take the month off and delete the game.....if somehow I lose my data....well that's Karma saying 'you're done mouse'.  If this is the end for me (which I don't think it is) it's a very sad way to go.

CG if you do this your are putting the nail in the coffin for this game.  I have never felt like I would quit this game over anything you have done so far.  Datacrons was pretty close but never really seriously considered quitting over it.  If you do this I AM DONE.  You will absolutely demolish the player base with this change.  If your intention is to kill this game then by all means go ahead and implement this stupid **bleep**.  I would highly suggest that you don't even test this with the community and just be like oh everyone will adjust and get over it because this one is that bridge too far.  You put this in place be prepared to shutter this game for good.
