Kraken or not...there are some parts of this game that no one is playing intended to have maxed right away. This is a resource management game - if you don’t have the resources or the blueprint on where to spend first - then no one else has that either. That’s an equal playing field ....for short period of time at least. Match your theory crafting against everyone else’s or wait patiently and hoard until everyone makes a video.
