zJyn is amazeballs in 3v3 GA. She's solid in 5v5 GA. She's situationally useful in TW. She's absolutely necessary in LS TB.
If you remove her from the U-Wing, you'll still end up having to star and gear her. She's not any harder than Logray, who is almost (but not quite) necessary to gain 3PO who will be necessary for Jedi Luke, so what, exactly, is the complaint?
Personally I love Cassian's U-Wing, but mainly because of the awesome AoE dispel on reinforcement. If my Jyn was 3*, the U-Wing would still be just as effective in needing what I really need it to do: Dispel the enemy then stealth one of my attackers to keep up the reverse-taunt on Hound's Tooth (which makes Vader's dispel of HT's actual taunt buff irrelevant, since no one else can be targeted anyway).
Try using stealth ships around HT. It works.
