Kylo Ren Unmasked is a seriously unbalanced character and needs a massive nerf. His 'scarred' ability makes him literally invincible and self-sustainable even in a 1v5. Below is a link to video footage of a Galactic War battle where my entire squad at full capability cant kill him over the course of 15 minutes (I started recording later on). Not only that, he had 50+ stacks of 'armor shred' that in no way made it easier to kill him in the slightest. Can I add that this was the final enemy in the final battle of the Galactic War area that I couldn't complete because of this unbalanced character.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but you are clearly new to the game and have much to learn. There are far more powerful characters later in the game, but just like them, there are effective strategies to defeat KRU. Unfortuantely, i don't think any of the options involve phoenix. You really need to heal block KRU, or out pace his recovery with damage (with minimal debuffs)."Sebek;c-2099703" wrote:
Wait till you're gonna meet Nest, she's more Powerful
as I said to someone else, I never said Kylo was the most powerful character in the game, I just think against any squad of the same level and gear, he shouldn't be able to defend against 5 attackers when he himself is alone and has 75 stacks of armor shred lmao.- The point the other posters are making is that some characters have strong counters that can take them out easily, but on the flip side there are teams that just won’t work against certain characters. Such as in your case above.
Now, you could learn something from the more experienced players who have kindly offered advice. Or, you could scoff at them and demand the game mechanics be changed to your specifications. - VaderizerSeasoned NewcomerSo far you've responded to what has only been accurate, helpful advice by getting wildly defensive and touting "your opinion" as if that is something that matters. Oh, and "lol you know more than me so you must be a loser" which is always a great way of winning people over.
KRU is powerful early on. Later he won't be. That's all there is to it. Calm down, and maybe grow up a little as well. "Jmh580;c-2099862" wrote:

And if my opinion "doesn't matter" yours sure as hell doesn't matter lmao
The level 82 is very new and also Phoenix are bad team for Kru.
Oh, wow. That gives me perspective. I thought 85 was the max level in the game lmao
Many would argue, and i feel they do so correctly, that the true 'game' begins at level 85. Before it is fun, and you are learning the ropes and starting your roster, but after that it is all about growing a collection and crafting it into what you need to defeat the content you are interested in, whether that be pvp heavy, pve focused, or a combination.- How to make friends and influence people by Jmh580.
Sometimes your roster just isn't good enough to win. That's when you pick up your hat and head for the door. Come back tomorrow. Unbalanced? Yes, yes it is. That's where you have to strategize to win. Build up counters that work, and don't waste your squads in a battle they cannot hope to win.
BTW, 75 stacks of armor shred is no better than 5. Better course of action is to take your Phoenix squad and go unlock Emperor Palpatine. Then bring in Papa Palps and lay Shock on UKR. - IchiraikouNew Spectator

And about Palpatine, I've been trying to get him to 7 star, but I use Sabine instead of Ezra because I feel she does better damage and her debuffs are really good, but she's insanely hard to get to 7 stars. She's only at 5 stars and I've been sim'ing her dark side hard battle for about 2 months. It holds me back from doing Thrawn and Palpatine battles :(
P.s. relatable. Sabine is an absolute nightmare to farm. Thou since the Phoenix have 2 really good ships it's still recommended you upgrade all 6 of them. "Ichiraikou;c-2099889" wrote:

Thanks for the tips, as some more toxic posters pointed out I was being too defensive, so sorry about that.
Since you are clearly showing no sign of offering a serious apology or accepting reality, I'll be the one to bring it to you: You're the only one being toxic here.
If you truly wanted to safe face, as you said, you would've just apologized and moved on. Yet in the same post you apologized, you also went full on toxic against pretty much everyone who didn't agree with you, showing that that apology was a fake one and you where just putting on a show. Case in point: You claim to have moved on after your apology, yet are still insisting on calling them toxic (despite nobody here but you having shown any toxic behavior.). You wouldn't be so focused/insistent on that if you where truly sorry and/or trying to save face. It does actually **** me off a bit how you continue to insult everybody while claiming no fault of your own.
As an outsider of this debate, I beg you: Please give a sincere apology and move on. Cause as long as you are not moving on, nobody else is going to.
I'm just gonna let it go because u kinda disarmed me with the comment below that showed u rly were just trying to have a conversation. Sorry ab the toxicity on my part.
And yeah, what the hell is it with Sabine?? Jedi Consular's ship can literally appear twice in the Galactic War shop at the same time, but Sabine can only be farmed for 1-5 shards a day from a single place without paying real money? lmao"Jmh580;c-2099896" wrote:
Also can I ask another question? How long did it take you guys to get to a good point in the game? I felt like I was grinding a ton over the past 3 months, I play a good amount each day while listening to music or watching tv, I complete all the daily challenges every day and I come back to sim specific battles when I get bonus energy...how long does it take to become 'good' in your eyes? This is an INSANELY grindy game, and it's really hard to upkeep my four main squads because my main Phoenix squad was started way before the others, and it's been hard to bring the other squads up to my main without having to use resources on my main to keep up with my growing level. Do you guys have tips? Right now I'm trying to level up four squads: my main Phoenix squad, a clone trooper squad, an empire squad, and a bounty hunter squad, but it's really hard to divide my resources among 20 characters at once, but if I dont they'll fall behind and I'll only have the Phoenix squad as a genuine squad.
Sorry if that was worded terribly!
I didn't play very competitively for like 6-10 months, so my roster was a mess. since then have really focused down on more "meta" viable teams for PvP. If you are playing without spending large sums of money, the best is to focus on a team and work it to a good level for its use. This will vary in the early game, where you are, as the goal is to unlock the better characters, so a team like Phoenix is going to be essentially "done" around g9 or 10, as that is all you need for Palpatine and Thrawn, and the team is not really worth investment later in the game.
Of the other squads you mentioned, i would say BH are a good secondary focus as it will get you through credit heists and some other helpful small events. Focus on you phoenix and get them done first, and then go 1, maybe 2 teams at a time to keep focused on what you are building and progress faster to the next goal.
