I’m constantly critical of the way CG handles (or fails to handle) pretty much everything but even I think this is ridiculous. There are a lot of catch up mechanics, one excellent example is the anniversary quests where they’re rewarding 7*/g13/zeta skill LSTs. Dozens of them, most for specific toons but there are half a dozen that are faction specific also. There will always be a gap between day 1 players and people who started later and there absolutely should be. It’s also ridiculous to say new players are going to face off against people with 10 GLs. As for your specific problem where you believe an account with 40 R9’s doesn’t belong in K2, so what? Maybe you should drop to K3 or put your big boy pants on and hit K1. It’s not like the guy is in Bronzium bullying noobs.

GAC isn't a priority for CG, nor is TW. It's only new shinies. It's over 3 and 4 years for those events to have updates.
At the same time, end game accounts aren't getting much of anything besides spend more money and shut up.
