Are you talking about the meta report? Thrawn is only in 1% of #1 teams right now. I think his usage will grow as he's a strong individual character but I don't think his leader ability is particularly great so he won't elevate Empire enough to have a big effect on the meta. Rex's usage is stagnant because the Chaze growth seems to be causing a net raise in Wedge leadership. I would say it would depend on when Fulcrum becomes available through other means. Once people start getting her to 7* I think you might see a variety of teams built around her

The number of total characters used is greater than the number of teams the list is based on x5, I'm guessing because some players rank #1 with more than one team. But anyways the percentaes for each character often go up or down a point or two each day, longer term trends are more significant. And I predict that Baze/Chirrut will continue their slow upward climb until they are nerfed either directly or indirectly (by new gear, a new power creep character, a new Zeta, etc.).

It's worth pointing out that thrawn has shown up a little because people wanted to try him out. The truth is he's bad on defence. the guy in my shard put him in for R2 in his rex/chaze/DN side. it took him less than 48 hours to take thrawn out and put R2 back in.

I know that's not rex specific but my point is that thrawn will probably be needed in an empire team rather than rex lead. so until people get that tarkin mix moving, I don't expect too much to change.

Since R2 hit, the Rex cleanse guys moved to this group of 5 ... however ... in the last few days DV / Tarkin teams have surfaced that are giving the clenase guys big problems and a few of them have had to change up.

We may not see a big Rex change though because it's still effective - you can still camp on a Rex lead classic cleanse team and take #1 - many people won't bother re-tooling an arena team if something else is still effective.

the guy I was on about is a guy (amongst a few others) I do battle with every day for #1. I can't say I've had enough battles with his thrawn team to reliably draw a conclusion but so far I've definitely found it easier to beat him when he's had thrawn as opposed to R2.

and clearly he's realised this. his thrawn is maxed.

It would be great to start seeing more empire teams out there. There's currently only 1 empire team in my top 20 (Maybe even 50). Krennic lead, DT, DN, GK, and zThrawn.

Just out of curiosity, what is your team comp with Thrawn? I have a 7 star, gear 9 Thrawn too and was thinking of trying it in Arena, but unsure of what the right team comp would be.
