I bet, at this time, only Rey will be required. This announcement is warning to everyone to start getting the others farmed and tuned up - especially VSHan and VSChewie.

The VSs have recently been farmable for credits from the SHipments store at the cost of something like 600 crystals for 8 shards. But on every rotation of the store, there is either VSHan or VSChewie - the only problem is being able to afford the crystal currency for each.

Therefore the full event - same with CLS will likely come sometime next year - but who knows it wouldn't surprise me that the entire team listed above are required at 7* before the end of the year.

You can look forward to playing as Rey (Scavenger) in her Hero’s Journey event, in support of the worldwide theatrical release of Star Wars™: The Last Jedi this December.
