RNG can be funny when it is a "small" part of the game, here, it is just a gambling machine, the model of the game is completly outdated.
As stated by others before, you really need to be more specific if you want some kind of debate. Or do you imply that every victory you ever had is because you were lucky and nothing else ?

But, I was talking about RNG in general. If I was about to be specific, I already wrote that, ship battle lately, and if you want an exemple, the RNG about ship assists (Rebels with profundity or the Vulture droid) sometimes you win using a counter because there is not too much assists, and other time you get wreck because there is too much assist / or none (this is just a exemple, it doesn't change the way how I feel about RNG in this game) - frieste332 years agoNew Spectator

Most of RNG mechanics, I hate RNG in general, I do understand that you have to get the right counter, the right strategy, ....
RNG is going to be in any game, not just SW based. You’re never going to come across a BBB mobile game like this that doesn’t have that layer to it. Can there be certain aspects that don’t need to be so insanely RNG reliant like DataCons and events like GAS unlock? Of course. However it’s never going to go away completely
I know RNG is part of almost every games, but in this one, there is way too much, amost everything in this game is RNG dependent.
I would like to see CG employees having their salary based on RNG, it could be funny, you know the meme 2x0=0
I think you should try and think of both sides of the equation. "Bad" RNG and "good" RNG both exist. There just seems to be a human tendency to remember the former and gloss over the latter.
RNG almost certainly has worked for you sometimes, as well as against.
Both exists yes and I don't care about Good RNG, not because human tendency is to remember bad thing, but because I hate having no control over the outcome, if I messed up because I made a mistake I will be less angry because I am learning of my mistakes, not because some RNG choose for you and makes you loose.
i think the fact you say that you "i hate having no control over the outcome" kinda shows that you don't really understand counters, mods, or strategy.

Prof has RNG, yes, and I still win over 95% (rough estimate) of my fleet arena battles.

I’ve seen this a lot on these forums, especially what you describe about beating Profundity / Malevolence with their assist mechanics.
Sounds like you’re making the same mistake others have made - if you very occasionally beat these lineups with something inferior, but lose the majority of the time, those rare wins are the RNG - not the other way around.
I once beat the Reek in the KAM mission with woefully under relic’d clones. When I lost the next 5 in a row, it was obvious to me what was going on. I hadn’t endured 5 months of bad luck, I had enjoyed 1 month of ridiculously good luck.
If you are losing frequently to lineups with these assist mechanics, your team isn’t good enough. Try something else.
I usually beat them, and sometimes, a couple day in a row, just loose against lower team, because, there is too much assists (against profundity) or no assists at all from the Vulture - M0st1yHarm1ess2 years agoNew Spectator

Well, it's all the more pointless if you are actually complaining about rng in general, as a mechanism. It would actually be more understandable if you are just upset over some bad rng in a particular battle or GAC match, for example. - wharp952 years agoSeasoned Novice
