ROTJ Luke Skywalker Kit Idea

This kit is designed to be OP. He’ll be the most powerful character to ever be in the game. My idea is that in a few years when there aren’t many characters left to add, they’ll bring in Jedi Luke with an event. Not a heroes journey or legendary event, but a bigger, more challenging one.

Required units (all seven star): CLS, Han Solo, ROLO, R2-D2, CHS, Hoth Soldier, Hoth Scout, Hermit Yoda, Lando, Chirpa, Wicket, Logray, Paploo, Teebo. Required units not yet in the game (all seven star): C3PO, Chewbacca, Millennium Falcon.
Once part 1 has been completed, part 2 unlocks.

Part 1
Tier 1 requires seven star CLS to fight against a Wampa. Tier 2 requires seven star CLS, CHS, ROLO, Hoth Soldier, and Hoth Scout to fight against an AT-AT, some IPDs, and snow troopers. Tier 3 requires seven star CLS, R2-D2, and Hermit Yoda to fight the dragonsnake on Dagobah. Hermit Yoda has a special ability that is locked until you defeat the dragonsnake, which lifts Luke’s X-Wing out of the swamp. Tier 4 requires seven star CLS to fight ‘Vader with Luke’s face’ in the cave on Dagobah. Tier 5 requires seven star Millennium Falcon (piloted by Chewbacca and raid Han) to face TIEs and a star destroyer. Tier 6 requires seven star Han, ROLO, C3PO and Chewbacca to face Vader, Boba, and stormtroopers before they are taken captive. Tier 7 requires seven star CLS to face Vader in Cloud City. Tier 8 requires seven star Lando, R2-D2, C3PO, ROLO, and Chewbacca to fight against stormtroopers to escape Cloud City.
Part 2
For part 2, CLS has a green saber and dark clothes, but the same stats and abilities.
Tier 1 requires seven star CLS to face the entire Rancor raid. Tier 2 requires seven star Lando, CLS, Chewbacca, Han, C3PO, R2-D2 and forced ally slave Leia, whose only ability is to choke Jabba. They face Jabba, Boba, Salacious B. Crumb, and skiff guards/gamorreans. Tier 3 requires seven star Chewbacca, C3PO, CLS, R2-D2 and Han & ROLO (same abilities, but dressed like they were on the forest moon of Endor) to face scout troopers. Tier 4 requires seven star Chirpa, Wicket, Teebo, Logray, and Paploo to fight the Endor Escalation event. Tier 5 requires seven star Han, ROLO, C3PO, Chewbacca, and R2D2 to fight the Endor Escalation event. Tier 6 requires seven star CLS to fight Vader in the Emperor’s throne room. Tier 7 requires seven star Vader to destroy the Emperor before he kills Luke. Tier 7 requires seven star Millennium Falcon to fight TIEs and blow up the second Death Star.

  • While I like your idea for ROTJ Luke, I do NOT agree that any hero should ever be designed with the INTENT to be OP.

Every group with a specific “tag” such as Jedi, Sith, Rebel, Phoenix, Empire, etc... should all be viable options for all players to use in the game.

Now I realize some heroes/villains were stronger than others in the lore but for gameplay balance none of the heroes/villains should ever be so exceptionally good that other teams do not stand a chance against them.

I also realize that this balance is hard to achieve but over time all CG can do is listen to feedback and use data metrics to make any changes that bring “balance” closer. There are obviously unbalanced teams even now that everyone is aware of, but this is something I feel CG should try to correct ASAP for the overall health of the game and to ensure gameplay is “fair”.

CG agrees with making OP heroes. Look at how CLS was when he came out. Or RJT. They know people will panic farm and spend to get all of the requirements ready and as a result they’ll make lots of money. While perhaps it shouldn’t be this way, and there should be more balance, they’re probably not going to nerf Traya or rework CUP.
We have to remember that there’s a company behind the game and their main goal is to get as much money as possible (for obvious reasons such as supporting their families). Their next goal is to make a good, healthy, balanced game. But that comes second and sometimes they need to focus on the first goal and forget about the second one.

Anyway, this is my idea of how the game could finish when there’s nothing else to do with it. Maybe add a title for having Jedi Luke. Make unlocking this character is the ultimate goal to achieve. I love this game, but right now there’s no objective, other than to max out characters and do your best in arena, guild events, and raids. It’s not like you can win this game or anything.
