Not all light-side force-users are Jedi.

Unaligned Force User is just a tag that CG created for force users that aren't Jedi or Sith. It has nothing to do with light/dark alignment, and never has

Sorry for the confusion. She isn’t a Sith but she is dark side which is why the unsigned force user tag confuses me because it makes her sound like a grey jedi when she is in fact a dark side force user

Unaligned force user simply means that they’re not a Jedi or Sith. I don’t really get the confusion over this.

Commander Ahsoka Tano has this tag since she no longer considers herself to be a Jedi, Supreme Leader Kylo Ren clearly is neither a Jedi or Sith, etc.

If they just made the tag "force user" then there would be endless posts about jedi and sith characters not having that tag as well. "Unaligned force user" is a cumbersome tag, but it gives them a force user tag for the non sith or jedi out there.

It's still weird to me that they are so careful not to give any new lightsaber wielding dark side characters the sith tag, but meanwhile we have sith empire trooper, sith trooper, Savage Oppress, sith Marauder, sith Assassin. The rule of 2 is just dumb anyway. Way to limit your galaxy spanning cult!

Tags in this game are used to make squads, they dont necessarily go off of lore.
