I think it's specifically designed to be survived easily by Relic Phoenix. If you look at their kits and shared uniques they're essentially perfect for surviving Sidious' AoE + Debuffs. It'll heal them all. Kanan's Zeta then clears everything and puts down foresight. Then daze/stagger like crazy. Only thing you're really missing is Tenacity Down.

Each of these Challenge Tier events is cleared geared to be easily beaten by 1 of the 2 factions available. The second faction can beat it, however; they need to be much higher geared than normal:

Rebel Roundup:

Military Might:
Rebels > Clones

Ground War:
Jedi > Ewoks

But who wants to relic Phoenix?

I can't clear Tier 1 and I have 2x G13 NS and the rest are G12+0 to G12+2. Great but not top-tier arena grade mods.

Relic Daka + G12/g11 NS are enough. I finally bit the bullet and pushed Talia to g11 and put mods on her. Took two attempts with R4 Daka (Crit avoid arrow + 107k health), g12+3 Asajj, G11 Talzin, G11 Talia, G12+2 Zombie.

I three starred it last time with G12 Spirit instead of Talia, but it took about 10 attempts. Attempted it 11 times with Spirit this time, before finally spending the Mk5 Droid Caller and Mk7 Nubian to push Talia to g11 and then did it in two attempts. (First one, I stupidly had Talia's cleanse on cooldown going into Wave 4 so I couldn't clear the heal immunity on Daka)

Word. Doesn't negate the fact that I 3* it last time with no issues.

But that's the issue here right. Not the adjustment of difficulty.

* Basic the hell out of Sidious to suppress his TM gain with exceptions for event buff on Zombie and Talzin's specials (save Spirit Blade for when you really need it)
* Similar deal for Nihilus, juggling Trooper & Assassin crowd control on the side and making sure to keep Zombie taunt up for Annihilate
* The rest is gravy

Managed to 3* Tier 1 after moving some mods around.

z Talzin lead, R3 Asajj, R5 Daka, G12 Zombie and Spirit. Moved my JKR mods over to Spirit to put her at +130 speed. Definitely pushed it over the top. Ended up with a mini 3 member deathstorm going until the end. Asajj was up to 185k on basic in Wave 8.

Then I tried Tier 2. Ugh.

For T2 use MT lead, Daka, Asajj, Talia, Zombie. Get Daka to at least 115k health with CA arrow. Go into p4 with all abilities. Sideous will AOE, use revive. If Daka has health regen debuff, use Talia's ability. It can be rng as Sideous will sometime AOE again after revive. If Daka still has the debuff, game over. For DN in P8, just have someone taunt that isn't Daka so she doesn't get annihilated.
