I would ditch Magna for your g9 Nute. Magnaguard doesn't really do anything in that event except give GG an extra turn. Nute on the other hand automatically revives after dying the first time, potentially giving GG two bonus turns or more just from dying, and if he gets to take a turn you can extort Padme. Just like in the movies lol. Oh and I would give Dooku his zeta he's worth it now.

With my separatists, I've only Asajj G12.
I've Dooku, B2, Nute, GG, Poggle, Sun Fac and Magna 7*. I could also have the spy 7*.
Who do you think I should take ?
Nute or Dooku lead ?

Magna also takes the mark instead of B2, which helps B2 stay alive longer (assuming no new droids). I found that very helpful personally.

Whatever compo you are going for, a maxed (g12+5, well modded for health) should come in as a priority, you can forego of the 2 zetas on him depending on rest of your team (assuming you are looking for a 7* Padme). Nute comes right after that as a well spent investment.

I got it 7* 1st time with GG,Sun Fac,Assaj(2 zeta),B2,IG out of lack of better options. Absolutely give IG a pass, worthless junk xD

Dooku also provides a superb new alternative.

I'd say go for the B1 and Droideka for a long term Sep. investment, but it's evident merely completing their shards is a hassle and not a casual investment at all. And -bugz- quite possibly getting a rework by new TBs makes Sun Fac another good bet.

So the general opinion is Nute is better than Magnaguard for the event, after the rework? I was planning to gear Magnaguard, but if Nute's better I should start working on him (droideka will probably not be 7*). I've had Nute 7* for ages, I never thought I'd ever gear him lol.
The rest of my team will be the same mentioned by others: GG, Assajj, B2, dooku. Sun Fac and GeoSpy are already g11, just in case.

Poggle, Spy, SunFac, Ventress and B2

I’ll have G12 Nute and Dooku on standby to rotate in....
I’m keen to record the Poggle lineup as video proof though ;)

Nute - 100 Carbanti's and 100 Stun Guns
Dooku - 50 Carbanti's and 100 Stun Guns

Much better value. So when Padme event comes back I should have

GG, B2, Assaj, Droideka, Nute or Dooku

Lol yes Magnaguard is seriously bad, kit is interesting but a g8 Sidious hits harder... Even at g12 literally the only thing Magnaguard has going for it is being mildly irritating to take down. They should either make MG a proper tank or boost its damage considerably. Actually damage should be boosted in any case.

But really though as for the event I think it'll be a cakewalk now for anyone that has a decent Dooku or Nute together with B2 for the dispells.
