I really hope this isn't similar of what to expect in geo TB cause that was one of the most boring tedious events I've ever done in this game.

My clones are all still lvl 1 gear 1. So I just threw in some random toons as a joke and it pretty much auto'd the battle. I say auto because I did almost nothing while the B1's got 500 turns lol. I used GK, R2, BB8, and Padme.
BB8 and R2 did ALL the work. Everytime the B1's did their attack BB8 and R2 counterattacked and slowly whittled them down. Padme did absolutely nothing, I think she got maybe one move before the B1's killed themselves from BB8 and R2 counterattacking lol. I didn't have to actually play it much until the last B1 died. I think any toons with counterattack will do fine. Something like Han+Chewie, saw a guildie do it with Han+Chewie with Kanan and KRU since they also can counterattack
