Shards drop rate

Question

Why still after 10 yrs of playing the game does the drop rate drop to almost 0 when you get under 4 shards needed for 7th star? 20 attempts and got 1 shard...??? This is every time. I guess it so we spend crystals on refreshes that are just wasted away? Yet need 80 or more and you pick up usually 4 with attempts.&nbsp; This is one of the reason, legacy players leave the game.&nbsp;

There have been studies on this, and there’s no evidence of drop rates being altered.&nbsp;When I finished Inquisitor Barris’s farm recently, I got 11/15 to take her from 90/100 to finished on the last day I farmed for shards.&nbsp;

I guess it just does not like me, its every time for, get great drop rates till its the final 4.

It’s completely psychological. You’re only noticing how many drops you lack when, in your eyes, it really matters.&nbsp;Fret not, you’re not being deliberately screwed over.
