ship enhance limits?

I'm trying to enhance Mace's Endurance ship, but can't seem to get past lvl 70. I have sufficent training droids and credits, but the enhance button is ghosted out. Is there a limit on the ship that's based on my Mace's level, mats, etc? Or is their something wrong with the game?

    Mace is 4*, level 69, gear lvl 4, mats are at 4 minimum. BTW, my error, the ship is at 71, and again the enhance button is ghosted even though I have droids and credits .....

    You still did not answer the question what is you player level at not your character level? Are you max level at 85 or are you level 71? It is show on the top left by the settings button in cantina home screen.
