The more I look back at the justification for this change, the more I realize it was just tripe to cover the fact that they need more money. People aren't spending enough on ships. Those that are invested are already maxed. Those not interested aren't spending any money. What should we do? Let's disrupt everything to get more money out of people's pockets - they either cover their crystal loss and/or spend to upgrade these new 'capabilities'.
