Are those guild members also lower level? I'm pretty sure the ship arena shards are by ten level increments and then sign up time, just like tourneys. But you have to realize that unlike squad arena where most of the competition is casual or completely inactive players, ship arena for level 80+ is going to consist only of fairly active players.

If you put all the effort you can into ships you will eventually end up above those who focused on gear and toons. If you want a game where people can't pay to win, then don't play games that are solely funded by pay to win players.

No. I'm not 'low' level either. I rank in the top 50 of regular arena....barely.

No...it's almost impossible to "catch up" in this game. Good decisions could have helped before but now with ships everything is useful. Choosing the right toons to gear isn't a factor anymore.

I'm not saying I should be top 10...but I was hoping for top 50....I'm 2700...and stuck there..something's not right.

I can prove it...Go look at your ship shards rankings. I'm willing to bet if you click on the top 50 you'll find maybe one or two 1st place char arena rankings....I have over 20... That's 20 shard's Best Players all in a shard where I am... Either I'm secretely awesome at this game or insanely unlucky.

Time played was definitely not part of the equation...and It should have been.
