I just want to say "Thank you!" to all the devs who worked on the ships update. This is by FAR the coolest, most innovative update ever in the year I have been playing. Very well done. Everything from the Captial Ships and how they work to the abilities and synergies. The audio and visual aspects of ships is fantastic as well. Even the band and the Ships "room" itself. For those that are concerned about the Fleet Arena, a quick point:
Yes, whales inhabit the top 10-30 or so. But that's bound to happen anyway. There are always whales. Look at the payout structure. It is MUCH more level than Character Arena - the difference between someone who comes in 22nd in Fleet and 122nd is only 100 fleet arena tokens and 16k building matierals. That's virtually nothing. Over 4 days the tokens are 1 GW shipment for ship shards.
I completely agree with your point man. However I feel there needs to be WAY more diversity with ships for the update.
I mean Tarkins cruiser comes with 1 ship and the others get practically a full team.
Republic get five ships and the rebels get 4 ffs
I mean if you do research you'd know that the Royal guards to the emperor actually had personal TIE interceptors which would go well with the TIE fighter and even more so with DV's TIE advanced.
All you need now is an imperial shuttle maybe and you have a full team of imperial ships which could synergise well with tarkin.
