Ships PvP

Its because they are not calculating the difference Mods make.

Your pilots stats get semi-transferred into the ships.

Have you tried doing some manoeuvres?

I have run into the exact same issue. What really frustrates me is going up against the an opponent with the exact same squad as I have and where I clearly have the superior numbers and I struggle to down even ONE ship. I would dearly love for EA to explain how going into a battle against someone with Akbar as capital ship and no ship in their squad capable of taunting can have one ship taunt for multiple turns while getting Purple protection that makes it impossible to kill even with Ahsoka. I have run into this way too many times and it is getting very tiresome. EA - you really need to rework the mechanics of the ship battle s and rework the benefits that pilots bring to the battle. A level 50 character with less than tier 7 gear in a 2 star level 60 ship should not be able to wipe out a mid 70's character with full mods, tier 9 gear and a level 60, 3 star ship!!!

I don't know why people consider "power" as an accurate value in determining the chances of winning.

If that would be the case, amongst the "best" (top 20 most powerful) characters you have:
Nightsister Initiate (the character with the most power)
Poggle
Chewie
Lobot
HrSoldier
Nightsister Acolyte

... Go try those characters in a team (which can easily achieve 52k+ arena power) vs some 40k+ wiggs.

Yes. Also Plo koon is a hidden gem. There's a guy with 6k less power than my fleet with a better rank, because his plo koon throws a taunt around all over the place and then the ship I was beating up gets its shields back while I deal with the taunting ship.

I have a 72k power team (ahsoka, JC, wiggs, sarge) with GS backup. And i trash 85k power teams easily, and hold my own in fleet (about 5-10th). So maybe I'm in an easy shard which runs ackbar. BTW- have you tried Ahsoka ship? With mace or ackbar she's really op.

3k difference means nothing. I recently won against someone with a 24k higher fleetpower...

Latest update has completely ruined the ship battles!! They claim that the change of health and armor bars is cosmetic, but that's a load of crap! My ships now get pummeled after only 2 or 3 shots, every time. You spend all this time leveling your pilots so your ships will rule, and after 1 update your ships battle like they are level 20 again.

U act like the update ruined your ships but left everyone else's alone. C'mon now. They stated health stayed the same. They mentioned nothing of prot or damage tho.

Except the changed dropped player health and armor, but left AI controlled ships with considerably more health and armor than player ships.
