Should I have received 7* Ahsoka Fulcrum?

I don't keep up with the community announcement posts, so I am unsure of the details of the event. But recently an in-game event appeared that allowed me to battle for Ahsoka Shards. After completing it, I got roughly 200 shards, which took me to 6*. I am left needing 6 more shards to reach 7*. Was I supposed to receive more from the event or is that it? I have seen a lot of people talking about how they have gotten 7* character from it but I have only reached 6*.
