Ah, yes. Rock-solid data upon which to base your conclusions. Egnards is collecting drop rate info in a spreadsheet. The changes are literally one day old, it'll take some time to collect enough data to draw conclusions.
There is precedent to extrapolate from. Node drop rates is, to my recollection, the one thing CG has never screwed the playerbase on. There's a lot we can point to in terms of screw ups or even deliberate maliciousness, but there is no reason to expect the new tier 9 cantina nodes to be at least as good or slightly better than the old tier 8 nodes, which are still there, btw. You're free to keep farming those.
I notice these nodes are aweful.
You didn't even notice your spelling mistake, or the mix up with whether/weather, so I doubt you actually noticed anything meaningful about the quality of the new nodes.
