No, the chosen one was supposed to bring balance to the force... and he did... by killing off the Sith AND the Jedi. If you think about it, before Anakin came along, the universe was out of balance in favor of the Jedi. Then it was out of balance in favor of the Sith. If Luke is going to be a grey Jedi, then the prophecy has been fulfilled."CrunPud;c-1023421" wrote:

Not to mention that the Chosen One of the Force is an ancient prophecy who would destroy the sith.
Anakin/Vader did this by redeeming himself to the light and tossing Palp down a wishing well.
Not to mention as this prophecy is ancient it would be safe to say that the Chosen One is a serious rarity, likely only to ever occur once in the history of the Force. Having Rey as a second generation right after the first Chosen One was personified is like the Force churns out a chosen one every few years, lol - very dumb!
Do you really think, when Yoda/Kenobi made that statement at the time, they thought the Jedi would die off?!
"The idea of balance of the Force, a central tenet of the Jedi Order, refers to the ideal state in which the Force exists in nature, i.e. as the light side. The presence of the dark side corrupts and destroys this natural balance, and the Jedi viewed it as their duty to restore it.""SnakesOnAPlane;c-1024567" wrote:
Oh, that's certainly what they believed. However, the light side is not balance, it is a side. Balance is maintained by having 2 sides being equal. In this case, light and dark. What the Jedi thought the prophecy meant, and what it actually meant are two different things."Woodroward;c-1024565" wrote:

If the prophecy itself WASN'T referring to a standard definition of balance, then it is simply another gaping plot hole from the prequels because Anakin is the one who threw the balance out of whack to begin with by slaughtering the Jedi.
Makes much more sense to me to look at it as the Jedi were too caught up in their own goofy definitions to realize that they themselves were disrupting the balance too.- Gotta love those prequels right?

Agreed!! Anakin/Vader brought balance to the Force, TWICE.
And about the whole "midi-chlorians aren't acceptable", i still don't get it... The reasoning on why there is trully a Force, and how some sensitive people can manipulate it and it's form, sounds solid to me... Also solid that Darth Plagueis was such an expert on midi-chlorian manipulation he was able to create... Life.- Midichlorians ... tell me, what gives the midichlorians the ability to generate the Force? Maybe they have a symbiote inside them as well. We must go deeper!
This is why midichlorians are a bad idea. Horrible, horrible premise.
Plus, magnets! How do they work? "EventineElessedil;c-1024638" wrote:

You're gonna go there in a fictional universe, huh? So what gives you your essence (or soul, if you wanna call it that?) in life? Are you just here or do you have a purpose? What created the Big Bang?! Inquiring minds wanna know.
Mystical forces and religion are just a bad idea in real life."EventineElessedil;c-1024638" wrote:

You can't ask for a full explanation on that! No one mastered the Force on it's full. The Force is everywhere, just like life... Where did it came from? How do the sensitive ones are chosen by the midi-chlorians? The mistery it's what gives me the hype, the unkown limits of the Force... UNLIMITED POWER!!
Come on, as Snakes just said, it's a fictional universe, just enjoy as we can see Vader Force choking people...And other great stuff only Force users are capable of... It's simply great!"Woodroward;c-1016431" wrote:

I'm pretty sure Kylo used to have a Sith tag before all the recent reworks, so it's not so much that he has a placeholder tag, as he was coded with spots for one more tag than he actually has, so it's empty.
Apparently, Kylo Ren has a "Placeholder" tag (I fuzzily remember seeing it) according to his page on swgoh.gg.
Kylo never had the sith tag.
It is...especially since it's never been the case.
Never has there ever been a Sith tag on him. I've had him since his release - there were only 5, and even then I don't recall Vader originally having the tag until later, but that I could be mistaken about that. But I don't think I am - I don't recall them having any dual tag characters in the beginning- Midichlorians are unfortunately canon, but i can almost guarantee that they will never again be mentioned in the movies

This could be explained better in the new trilogy if it turns out the Snoke is indeed Plagueis - which I hope to hec is true because this would seal up a very large plot hole. A hole a lot bigger than a 2 meter womp rat!
I read a theory that Snoke is what Plagueis tried to create. So, the Force created Anakin to restore the balance.
