Sith teams aren't hard to beat IMO, and that's not the reason I don't like this meta. I just want diversity. The Sith month was a step backwards.

Everyone just jumped on the sith bandwagon I personally think there's better setups everyone just followed sith. You should be more mad at players then the supposed meta.

Well, I do agree there are better comps, but those comps are somewhat narrow and zDM closes off a couple common squads that many players in the 20-50+ ranks had that were previously capable of getting in the top 10 or so. So zDM does a good job insulating you in the top 15/20 as a D slot even if it isn't truly the most elite meta. For example, zDM shuts down the droid comp. totally - that's a very commonly owned squad historically. Prior to zDM, you had a lot of EP / zDV comps as well that were highly competitive - zDV especially. zDM pretty much wipes those out as well. So in the upper tier of the game, there is good diversity with DN leads, zDM leads, Rex leads, zJinn, Jyn full R1, and zDV leads (vs. DN leads it kills). Those are zeta-heavy, kinda-whaley type squads in many cases.

So what I think happened is commonly owned / built diversity is down, but upper tier / whale diversity is the same or possibly even better with the number of capable leads in the top 20 area. zDM put a hard stop to zDV, EP, and Droid leads that many had owned before, thus I think it feels like to many that it is "OP" or cuts diversity.

The folks in the top 10/20 run it at a higher rate because it's currently a safe D-slot because many players outside the top 20/25 or so don't have the tools to handle it well. This ensures you can get to a top 5 rank with at worst 1 50 crystal refresh. If you don't have the tools vs. Sith / zDM it will feel like the most OP meta because it fully disables much of your team and you are left feeling like there's no hope.
