I've read the entire thing up to this post & there were a total of 4 (FOUR) positive responses... and 1 of those 4, was riddled w/ complaints still. The rest has varied from specific mechanics being unenjoyable to "please remove this raid before my guild completely falls apart".
I love this game CG... please don't destroy it.
Only one word comes to mind. AMEN. Nothing more needs to be said. If your guild ends, hit me up. We'll find space for as many as we can. People matter, not the game, not rewards. Our motto is "No kid left on the bench, everyone plays!"
The problem remains we are giving them everything they need to justify the linear reframing of the raid rewards that everyone was up in arms about. They have stated that they are happy with the raid and it was meant to be difficult.
We are feeding them the critical feedback that will support their next update and the scaling back of heroic rewards again. And I think we are taking this poll as some sort of evidence that they see a mistake here. They do not. Watch the release notes, it will say based on feedback from this very thread. Well the release is next week and it took them nearly two weeks to roll back the previous roll out. So that means nothing from this could effectively be used as a template to move forward. So be mindful as we vent and bemoan the raid itself. The rewards are being redeveloped and a framework probably already in place. We are justifying the change for them.
Based on the feedback that no one (well, 4 people apparently) enjoy the raid, you're suggesting they would have justification to
reduce the rewards? That seems backwards, but given CG's track record, you're probably right.
