Attacks and Abilities
Basic: More Reflex Than Thought
Deal Physical damage to target enemy and gain Retribution for 1 turn. Rebel allies recover 10% Health and Protection. Allies with Defence Up gain Retribution for 2 turns and recover an additional 10% Health and Protection. Taunting allies recover an additional 40% Health and Protection, and if they have Health Up they also gain +10% Max Protection (stacking) until the end of the battle.
If Hoth Rebel Scout or Hoth Rebel Soldier are allies, call them to assist with their chance effects increased by +45% until the end of the turn.
Special 1: Kill Or Be Killed (Cooldown: 4)
Deal Special damage to target enemy. Inflict them with Healing Immunity for 2 turns and 6 stacks of Bleed for the rest of the battle. If target enemy already has Bleed or is Snowtrooper, set Bleed stacks to max, reset its duration, and trigger all Bleed stacks.
This attack deals +1% more damage for each 1% Health Corporal Jobin is missing and +1% more damage for each 1% Protection other Rebel allies are missing.
Special 2: Down! (Cooldown: 5)
Deal Special damage to all enemies and Rally all Rebel allies. Entrenched allies are Rallied again. If Captain Han Solo, Hoth Rebel Scout, Hoth Rebel Soldier, or Rebel Officer Leia Organa are allies, Rally them, and at the end of this turn restore all their Protection. If Mon Mothma is in the Leader slot, grant her a bonus turn and reset her cooldowns.
If an enemy Snowtrooper or Snowtrooper Commander are present, Demoralize Snowtrooper and Distract Snowtrooper Commander for 1 turn. These debuffs can’t be dispelled.
Leader: 4th Squad
Rebel allies have +50% Defence and Offence, doubled for Rebel Fighters. Whenever a non-Leader Rebel uses an ability they deal True Damage equal to 35% of their Max Health. If that ability was a Special ability, they deal additional True Damage equal to 35% of their Max Protection.
While in Grand Arenas:
Allies are immune to Stun and Speed limiting effects. Jobin ignores Stealth and Taunt effects, and other allies can ignore Stealth and Taunt effects to target enemies with Bleed.
Entrenched allies have +20% Max Protection and Mastery, and while an Entrenched ally has Health Up, all allies take reduced damage from Max Health effects and all enemies have their Turn Meter gains halved.
While in 3v3 Grand Arenas and there is an allied Hoth Rebel Scout and Hoth Rebel Soldier:
Whenever an ally uses an ability on their turn, Rally all other allies and call them to assist (limit once per turn). Rebel allies have an additional +100% Defence and Offence and have their Chance effects increased to 100%. Each active ally grants their Unique ability to other allies.
Unique 1: The Ones We Leave Behind
Jobin has +40% Accuracy, can ignore Stealth and Taunt effects to target enemies with Bleed, and can’t be revived. The first time Jobin is defeated, Deathmark the enemy that defeated him and all other Rebel allies reset their cooldowns and gain +25% Turn Meter. Entrenched allies gain an additional +25% Turn Meter. Allied Captain Han Solo, Hoth Rebel Scout, Hoth Rebel Soldier, and Rebel Officer Leia Organa gain an additional +25% Turn Meter.
At the start of battle, if there are no Galactic Legend or Unaligned Force User allies, no allies with Curator, and the allied Leader is either Jobin or a Rebel that is not a Rebel Fighter:
- All allies gain Entrenched for the rest of the battle, which persists after defeat.
- While Jobin is active, other Rebel Fighter and Support allies can’t be defeated. (This is not shared with allies).
- Whenever the allied Leader uses an ability, they call 2 random other Entrenched allies to assist.
- Whenever a Rebel ally recovers 1% Health while at 100% Health, they gain +1% Max Protection for the rest of the battle.
- Whenever a Rebel ally recovers 1% Protection while at 100% Protection, they gain +1% Max Health for the rest of the battle.
- Whenever an ally gains Health Up, dispel all buffs on them and reapply them with refreshed durations. These buffs can’t be copied, dispelled, or prevented.
- Whenever an ally uses a Special ability to revive an ally and is not in the Leader slot, reduce their cooldowns by 4. If no ally is revived, grant them Damage Immunity for 1 turn. If an ally was revived, all allies recover 20% Health and Protection.
Unique 2: Grond’s Warning
At the start of battle, non-Galactic Legend Rebel Leaders and Supports gain Speed Up for the rest of the battle. If an Imperial Trooper enemy is present, Speed Up can’t be dispelled until an Imperial Trooper enemy is defeated. If there is an allied Mon Mothma or Rebel Officer Leia Organa, grant them a bonus turn at the start of the battle, reduce their max cooldowns by 2, and they gain +50 Speed for the rest of the battle.
At the start of each encounter, Hoth Rebel Soldier and Tank allies gain Potency Up and Taunt for 1 turn, and if there is an enemy Snowtrooper or Snowtrooper Commander, Jobin gains a bonus turn.
Inspiration:
- Jobin makes his only appearance in the Star Wars: Visionaries comic “Entrenched”. As such, all his abilities pull from that, and Entrenched makes a return in his kit.
- Corporal Jobin led 4th Squad during the Battle of Hoth, leading to him synergizing greatly with Hoth Rebel Scout and Hoth Rebel Soldier, as well as with Rebel Officer Leia Organa and Captain Han Solo
- As the son of Mon Mothma, it felt fitting to let him have a place on her squad (especially with Luthen gone)
- Grond was one of the members of 4th Squad who helped Jobin defend the South ion cannon, which was being attacked by snowtroopers. During the fight, Grond was able to make an announcement to the command centre, declaring “Imperial troops have entered the base! Imperial troops have ent-” before being shot in the back. This warning was heard by Leia Organa, Han Solo, and the other Rebels present at the command center. This led to “Grond’s Warning” being the second Unique.
