By the response of the currently 51 page ships 2.0 AND 8 pages from the update on ships 2.0 thread, I'm pretty sure STR is here to stay as is.
They're just going to either bore the community to push for hSTR or they'll just quit from said boredom and frustration.
I guess it's one way to run a game.
