Slave 1 multi attack?

I run a 5* Slave 1 as my 1st reinforcement. I have yet to see it do it's basic more than once.

Did you see that? 'cause I couldn't swear it but I'm almost sure I've never seen it happen as well..

I've had it show multiple damages for me a couple times. It doesn't actually do multiple attacks like one of the TIE fighters does and it's not near 40%

It is not a multi attack as has been stated. It is a chance at multiple damage, one animation similar to Rey Flurry of blows. You will see multi damage numbers as show below

@scuba thank you! @BentWookiee I think we can wait a bit to give the opportunitie to other players to see that and then close the thread

Also if slave1 attacks a ship with counter / retribution- its 3x counter attack. The counter animation is 3 times.

Now that I would call a bug. Multi damage attacks are only supposed to trigger one counter, at least that is how it was described when it was corrected so Rey only got 1 counter when using flurry of blows.

@CG_Kozispoon can this be checked? A multi attack should have multiple counters but a single attack with multi hits should only have one counter.

@scuba The issue here is that the ability is a multi-attack ability, not a multi-hit ability. It doesn't show multiple animations (I believe it should), but with the ability description as-is, it qualifies for multiple counter attacks.

The ability states deals multiple damage just like Rey Flurry of blows not perform multiple attacks like fotp.

Fotp multi attack single damage.


Boba multi damage single attack.


Rey multi damage single attack.


Boba is worded just like Rey. From my post above counters were changed specifically vs Rey multi damage single attack. Counters are supposed to trigger on the number of attacks dealing damage not the number of times damage is dealt.

The multi-counter was unintended to begin with, an unfortunate result of Counter Attacks being determined per damage effect, rather than per attack. Thankfully, there's an override for that, so only the first hit can trigger Counter Attacks now. Considering that you still only need to succeed a single Evasion check to avoid all the hits, it only seemed fair that you only got one Counter, too.

Ah, my bad. I could have sworn it said "to attack them a second and third time" initially (wondering if they changed it or if I just misread it the first time and went with that). Whoops. In that case, yes, it should only be able to be countered once. My apologies.
