Slow and Topple

Some guildies and I are discussing whether or not topple time is effected by slow. I've been trying to find any information on this and of the very few guides I've found that make reference to slow during topple, there doesn't seem to be a consensus. I am looking for any anecdotal evidence that it does/doesn't work as well as hopefully something more concrete.
  • From my experiences it definitely affects the topple time, but I don't know for sure if anyone can correct me
  • If you're referring to speed down, yes, speed down on a topple certainly affects it by 25%. In the case of AAT P2 with Droids and Eng/Nebit, if 47 can get his slow off before the topple, this helps tremendously for more damage. I will usually retreat until I get it, and pray to the RNGeezus for another or two for the rest of the fight.
  • Rancor door or aat tanks slow does work on topple. Without slow I do around 1.2mil on p4 normal aat. With slow closer to 1.6mil.
  • For Rancor I use 5s to keep speed down on Captain Pig and Rancor, so coming into P2 and beyond I try to get speed down before topple, then use Teebs and QGJ to keep removing TM. I'll have the door ready to go as soon as Teebs misses. Sometimes that's within the first few % of P2 or at times I can hold to 15-20% damage into it. Gotta have good RNG for that.
  • Slow, or speed down, makes a huge difference whether it's during a topple or during a turn. Slow on rancor is a must , both while fighting him and while under the door. Same thing applies in aat.
  • Thanks for the info everyone! It's been a great help.

Up until now I never actively bothered making sure it was up during topple, I'll have to start I guess. Will share info with guild
  • Also keep in mind the bonuses you can get which includes speed up which is vital for the big numbers.
