Smuggler event timer bug

Does the timer being broken not bother anyone else for the smuggler (mod salvage) event?
Instead of a timer mine always just says something about a character preview. Been awhile now... why hasnt that been fixed?

    I'm not bothered by the timer not being accurate. it's just auto'd, it's super easy, which is a shame. Plus all I get are ghost shards. SWGOH events or something like that has the date

    No this is the smuggler event, not the cargo ship event
