Some of us were hoping an upcoming GL would be Revan as a neutral GL, but apparently the next GL to come here is a GL Thrawn from Ahsoka season 2.
They "plan" things out for a certain amount of time and if something doesn't get finished in that timeframe, they just keep moving on for the next release or next project. New shows and movies can cause a change to that so they can release "new shinies" related to what's just been 3, 6, or 9 months ago. As you see now with the focus on Ahsoka season 2.
GL Ashoka and potential GL Thrawn is just further proof they don't plan ahead well at all. They changed the Rebels-themed models for those two toons to ashoka-show-themed for no reason. And now they're going to be releasing duplicate toons with the same modeling? They can add a cloak to Ashoka, maybe, but there's nothing they can do to make GL Thrawn look different from what they changed his model to. If they were going to release GL versions of those toons they should've left the prior models themed after their Rebels look.
They have a "plan" but plans change, like I said. Some bean counter at CG makes the decision to change the plan because of something that will increase revenue. Revenue is the priority, hence, plans change.
Realize we have multiple Leias, Hans, and Lukes. It doesn't matter if they look alike. (So many of the wookies portraits look the same now.) It's a matter of if it will sell.
I don't like how a new television show has somehow come to direct the game.
