Yeah pretty sure i got 550 crystals for the win which is the A1 reward, will check after next fight to see if i get 550 or 510

How have they got it wrong? They were in K2, got demoted to K3 after 1 game of the Grand Arena. They're now in K3 getting K3 rewards but have 2 more matches vs K2 opponents. Seems to me it's exactly how fluffy stated it is.

Show me where he's getting k3 rewards

Dailys are decreased. I just went down to K5 and my crystals decreased. I'm not 'that' bothered about this part. Being in K5, but playing vs K4 is the main thing.

They get the exact same match-ups as they would under the old system (apart from the aspect of randomness that always was there)

But they're not in the same division and getting the same daily reward. As well as the skill rating not being within the divisional bracket.

I don't see any positive reason for this change.

I just wonder what else $$CG$$ has up there sleeve’s. But whatever myself I’d prefer a big demotion just to not have to deal with the 3 fleet headache.

Why does it matter that you're in K5 playing against K4? This part is not any different than before.

Before: you start a week with 7 opponents of essentially the same skill rating. As the week progresses, some scores go up, some scores go down. You are in the same group.

Except daily crystals where's the difference of being demoted amidst the rounds vs after? It's the exact same, your GAC won't change either way.

I'm sure everyone that gets promoted mid-event will also come to the forums demanding their rewards be decreased to the division they started the event in. /s

Joking aside, CG made their rewards system this way, and they have put zero effort into messaging since the initial announcement and Q&A. It would be so cool of they hired someone whose job it is to bridge the gap between the devs and the community. A manager of the community, perhaps.

You mean like someone whose job it is to browse through forums every day for multiple hours, not only reading threads but interacting with the people, giving information about current status and things that don't work as expected plus what has been or will be done about it and even more? Sadly i've never seen a Community Manager working this way in any game but hey, maybe somewhere in the Outer Rim some day..

Apparently the changes to GAC are working 100% as they've been communicated let alone some minor bugs of wrong numbers in mails when getting demoted but still receiving the correct rewards.
