That's how it worked for me. I began the week on k4, promoted to k3 after first battle. I won all 3 matches getting the 675 (k4) crystal amount, but the k3 dailies.

Can't swear it worked for everyone, but that was my experience.

See clearly we don’t need the devs, we can just figure out these things amongst ourselves.

Again no, you get the win rewards from you new division. If you get demoted you get the reward of the lower division for the next win that you scored in that Division. If you get promoted you get the win reward from that division.
I already posted a screenshot from this here before, maybe with all the comments you missed it

People were demoted and after they won they got the rewards from the lower new division.

Didn’t say it wasn’t working. I said that we don’t need the devs because we can rely on each other to clear up any miscommunications. I mean we rarely get it from devs anyways so it’s not biggie.

Just think of it as a classroom without a teacher still getting all of their work turned in and correctly.

Again no, there are screenshots of plenty of people getting the rewards from the source division, not the new division. I have personally experienced this, and so have a little doubt with anyone else saying otherwise. But it is CG, so we should really be surprised no one from K1 got A3 rewards.
