Well, they aren't integrated. You are promoted/demoted up to 3x during a week, but the MM was already done before any of that happened.

I don't understand why you think the frequency of promotion/demotion would matter? MM is done at the start of the week, and afawk the only thing it looks at is Skill Rating. Once the group of 8 is set, it doesn't change. Where in that process does the fact that you were promoted and demoted last week matter?

How have they got it wrong? They were in K2, got demoted to K3 after 1 game of the Grand Arena. They're now in K3 getting K3 rewards but have 2 more matches vs K2 opponents. Seems to me it's exactly how fluffy stated it is.
