He has 15 gear 10-11 toons total. I have 30. If I had all that gear back and played with only 10 toys I wouldn't see the "crunch" as bad either.
The thing is, I don't believe that even 30 toons is enough. As you clearly describe, the devs want us to use more toys too. "Only gear up your arena team" is not the solution to a clear lack of gear.
There are varrying levels of stupidity. To be 1st in all raids and arena in this game right now you really only need these toons listed below
Zader
EP
DT
ShT
TFP
Zid
Phasma
Boba
Tusken Shaman
With those 9 toons and proper mods you can Take 1st in Arena, Solo the rancor, Score 3.5 mil on the tank, Auto GW.
So just stop and think if you really need 30 max toons to enjoy the game. And if you do open your wallet. Gear is readily available for purchase. If you have a whale mentality but wanna be F2P you're gonna have a bad time.
