Another CG cluster being swept under the rug. Anyone that claims @CG_Doja_Fett_MINI cares about the community and is wanting to make the environment better need to look no further than this thread to dispel that myth. Don't even have the stooges sticking up for CG on this one.
I want to see it addressed as bad as anyone, but this kind of post doesn't help anything. If anything it makes a good case for NOT responding. Take a breath. It took me two battles to get that feat with R2, 3P0, and GMY. It's not that serious.
I’m sorry who are you to say it’s not serious? The feats are already ridiculously grindy beyond belief, completely against what the community said in C7-9 feedback. Now patches are resetting feats and they aren’t responding about it? Why should I or anyone else have to re do feat progress at all.
And I've been critical of the changes to conquest every step of the way. And I agree - the feats are grindy and overly tedious. And like I said in the post you quoted, I want to see it addressed. Also I didn't say it wasn't serious - I said it's not THAT serious, and I stand by that. I didn't want to re-do that feat either but in the grand scheme of things (in the context of this game) it's a blip on the radar.
My point is, being a **** about it doesn't fix anything and it certainly doesn't contribute to any kind of intelligent discussion on the matter. Seriously, when was the last time that saying, "Doja doesn't care!" changed a single thing?
If you cared even if you couldn't fix it you would pop in and say something anything...at work when problems arise mine or not I ask what I can do to help. I was simply pointing out the obvious he despite all the posturing doesn't care. Plain and simple. Calling someone pointing out the obvious names that have to be redacted on the other hand is not a good look.
The majority of the comments here in this thread reference the absurdity of the lack of acknowledgement add nothing. I might be wrong but doja is tasked with community engagement. This has implications beyond this conquest. I am redoing the feat. But it shouldn't have come to this and some people will be scrambling because they don't have the squads.
That redacted word was much more mild than the asterisks would have you believe... The constant rage on these forums gets tiresome. It makes a person wonder why people keep playing the game if everything is that bad.
Maybe some people enjoy the game but not **** way it's ran. People can say the game makes a ton of money but in almost any instance great customer service would yield even better returns. So I wasn't raging. I was pointing out the fantasy that people have about Doja was misplaced. And you started to call names. Not me. Commenting on someone's job performance is a professional matter. Thinking him apathetic is in reference to how he handles his role as community manager. How you reacted after says alot more about you than it does about me.
All these great suggestions people have made presume a lot of missing information as it pertains to specific rosters and even the board they face. Suggesting that it's really a simple fix on the individual players part is what leads to continued angst. But hey you apparently are great at customer service and what would make a community manager respond...<---sarcasm.
I'm actually very familiar with how customer service works and I'm very good at providing it - it's a big part of my livelihood. The thing about customer service is that no matter what you do, you can't please everyone. There are people in the world for whom there is no such thing as 'good enough'. A refund isn't good enough - a replacement isn't good enough - an apology isn't good enough - that person is still going to be upset no matter what I do. Anyone that's ever had to 'fire a customer' knows exactly what I'm talking about. And when people publicly trash talk me it indicates to me that they are past the point that I can make them happy. Why would I spend my time and energy (read: money) on trying to do damage control for a single person that clearly just wants to be belligerent when I have hundreds or thousands of other (paying) customers that are very pleased with the level of service that I provide? Recognizing those customers for whom no gesture or make-good could possibly change their mind is a skill. I suspect that Doja has become pretty good at it.
To my original point - spewing venom and vitriol at the CMs doesn't normally work to get them to respond and often makes it difficult to without lending credibility to outlandish claims like "Doja doesn't care". Why people continue to rant at them and expect a response is baffling to me. I would 'nope' out too.
Just to be clear - I agree that the situation should have been handled different from the start - they SHOULD have immediately acknowledged that there was a problem and I'm not claiming that it's OK that they didn't. It's not. I think there SHOULD be a make-good for this because it very likely did lead to some players not finishing with the rewards that they would have had otherwise - but trash talking someone because they didn't do what you wanted them to do doesn't change that - it just makes it clear that you won't be happy no matter what they do and in that situation, as a professional - not engaging is almost always the right move.
