Yeah unfortunately est is the most active timeslot. Sometimes there are at least 7+ Going for the top at the very end. Personally I'm happy with top 4-5.
Most frustrating is you can be top 3 and then last 10-12 min you'll get sniped back to back being locked out the entire time and take 6-10 and there's nothing you can do because your locked out.

If they can get these next updates right, I think we will be looking at a Rock Paper Scissors type meta where you'll have to have a certain time of team in order to defeat another specific type of team....instead of just same power level like it is now. This will greatly reduce sniping, and will also make ppl expand rosters in order to compete at the top since we will all need multiple arena lineups to compete top 10. At least this is what I hope happens, will be a ton of fun, even if f2p can't compete at the top for a long time it will be well worth the wait. Based off how many different factions there are and how many different types of toons there are....speed, aoe, counter, stealth, turn meter.....it would allow for unlimited different setups letting us all farm what we want instead of what we have too.

I farmed a 50 for Dooku to get him over the 5K hump--since he's only 6* and a long way off from 7--and it was absolutely agonizing... can't see myself doing it again any time soon ...

I had to do a 50 farm for GS to get him gear 9. I remember doing 5 energy refreshes a day. Still took forever, the next 2 months of gear farming and trying to get toons to lvl 80 is going to make the boring aspects of the game 10x more boring.

It might be the breaking point for a lot of ppl

I have started to farm the hairdryers and it's a nightmare... I am getting one out of every ten tries... I read the odds for purple gear were around 25-30%, not even close in my case. I need like 250 of these hairdryers, so it's gonna take forever even when I can unlock the challenges.

I think purples are like 15% rate...tops.
There are definitely stats out there ppl have posted. However, as with farming any purples, I literally just try and not pay attention while I hit the sim key, it's just too frustrating. Same with hard node shard farming.

Cantina is the only place where farming is tolerable.

Sometimes when farming blue gear I'll go 0 for 10 or 0 for 15.....


It's about to get way worse with gear 9 and 10
