Apple don't have the largest profit margins of any company on this planet by giving away free stuff to their loyal (perhaps blinded) customers. As an iOS user I'm well used to it now. The "free app of the week" in AppStore doesn't really count. Fact is Android (Google) give more free stuff to their customers than Apple do or ever will.
May I conclude that EA & CG are really starting to come good on this brilliant game, especially with lots of the recent changes and upcoming character cadence release going forward. Moving away from a purely pay to win to trying to level the playing field. 10/10 for effort to the Devs.
