Really? Well, the CLS event required Old Ben, of whom many said they didn't farm him because he was a "useless" toon.

Here are Lobot and Ugnaught: two "useless" toons who were in Empire Strikes Back.

The difference is: ug and lobot had zero interaction with Luke while he was on Bespin. Meanwhile Old Ben was actually a role model and mentor for Luke. I see where you're going, however, all the toons required for CLS were people (and droid) that started him on his path.

Interaction, no. However, was it not Lobot's actions that allowed Leia, Lando, etc. to escape and rescue Luke? Whether they directly interacted or not, he certainly had an impact on Luke's "Hero's Journey"
